About Kalo
Guidance, like light through an old stone window.
Kalo takes its cue from the sun mark above our emblem — a symbol of guidance carried through Ethiopia's oldest architecture, from Lalibela's rock-hewn churches to Gondar's fortress walls. We built a travel house around the same idea: illuminate the way, and let the country's own heritage do the rest.
Every itinerary, vehicle, and event we plan is handled with the same unhurried precision — professional enough for a head of state, warm enough for a family reunion.

A graduate of Tourism Management with an MBA, Wubalem has more than 12 years of experience in Ethiopia's tourism industry. She leads Kalo Tours' strategic direction, destination management, and partnerships, with a passion for creating authentic journeys that connect travelers with Ethiopia's rich culture, history, and natural beauty.
